I was reading this article about 7 Reasons to Work in the Church Nursery. We talk about volunteering at The Journey not because we want to fill spots to have a service. It's really about owning God's mission, playing a part and seeing God work in & through you. Volunteering makes an invest in the future of your life and the life of others. Volunteering build consistency. It brings ownership and when we see the exciting things God is doing, we feel more connection to God and the celebration. It building relationships. The best thing is found in that while you do something for others, you end up getting more out of it. If you want to experience your best life and take steps in your relationship with God, volunteering might be your next step.
