Important Update About Our Services Modern Yellow Circles - Title

Hey Journey family,

You have probably seen the news about the rapid rise of COVID positive cases in our area. Our hospital facilities are beyond capacity and it's putting stress on our amazing healthcare workers (which many attend The Journey). We have consulted some community and health care leaders. We also have had difficulty staffing our Sundays at church as we see a number of people in quarantine. So to care for our community, we are temporarily pausing all of our onsite in-person gatherings at The Journey for the rest of the Sundays in November and we will evaluate at the end of the month.

In the past few months we have had church gatherings onsite and online.  If you've been joining church online, nothing will change and we will continue providing a great online experience.  For those that have been coming onsite, we how you join us for church online.

As we said at the beginning of the pandemic, pausing our in-person gatherings does not mean “church is closed”.  The Church is not a building, it’s followers of Jesus on the mission of Jesus in our world and that hasn’t and won’t change.

Let this season of frustration be a season of transformation by leaning into your relationship with Jesus.  We are here to help.  We are praying for you and your family.  We’re in this together.  We (all of us together) are the Church and we get to continue to be the church to our community.

In the week ahead we have some great ways to continue to fix our eyes on Jesus:
Sunday: Church Online Week 3 of our series I Survived 2020
Tuesday: Virtual Compassion Night to Sponsor more kids in Peru
All Week: Survival Guide
Thanksgiving: Share Gratitude
Coming Soon: Hope Christmas Project
