TODDLER & 4-KINDERGARTEN KIDS

2011_Monthly_Standard

Our younger kids are focused in on how "GOD IS GOOD" this month with a fun theme of "Thankful Tree". It's all about how "we have a lot we can thank God for"!

Find everything you need for a great at-home experience (including this week's Bible story video!) at The Parent Cue website.

EXTRA AT-HOME FUN!

Use the simple format below to have fun playing & retelling the Bible story together after watching this week's video. Share a picture with us online using #journeykids!

1. Grab some building blocks at home.

2. Play together to build a giant wall; just like Nehemiah did in today's Bible story.

3. While playing, remind your child that God gives us people to help us and we can thank Him for that!

1ST-5TH GRADE KIDS

2011_Standard_Kids_BottomLine4

1st-5th grade kids are learning about GRATITUDE this month. We're focusing in this week on the ability to "adjust your attitude". Our Bible passage is from Matthew 20:1-15. The workers in the vineyard need to adjust their attitude to shift their focus from fairness to generosity.

Find everything you need for a great at-home experience (including this week's Bible story video!) at The Parent Cue website.

EXTRA AT-HOME FUN!

Grab a paper and some markers to create a thank you card for someone in our community. Who could your child thank this week?: mail carrier, grocery store clerk, librarian, delivery driver, police officer, medical worker, garbage collector.

Gratitude is all about SHOWING others we see how they've helped us, so...help your child take a step this week to put their faith and thankfulness into action!
