We're having a little hoe down fun, looking at some people in the Bible who could be featured in a country song and how God can bring us hope through it all. If you missed any of the first 3 weeks, you can watch the messages online.

NETWORK SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE STARTS THIS SUNDAY!
We will be having our annual school supply collection to help kids in need in our community. You can drop off any school supplies in the bins at church on Aug 21, 28 or Sept 4. They will be distributed to local schools and organizations to help kids get the best education possible. Let's see which Network can collect the most backpacks and school supplies! Look on the August Journey sheet to find a list of possible items to start picking up.

BAPTISMS COMING UP
On August 28 we will have a special event for baptisms at the beach to celebrate people taking next steps. Plan to meet at 6:00 pm at the grassy picnic and playground area by the Coast Guard Station at Pere Marquette for a picnic and then at 6:45 we'll head down to the beach area and have baptisms.
