21 DAYS FOR 2021

We're taking 21 days to focus on God to start the new year

21 days web

Over the next 21 days we want to focus in on God and our relationship with Him. We want to have focus going into the new year and build a healthy habit of dependency of Jesus. So how do I make the most of these next 21 days?

Here's 5 ways to help you engage with God in the next 21 days:

  1. Partipate with the Daily Focus. Each day there will be a new video devotional from church along with a Bible passage, prayer and more ways to help you connect with God. The videos will be available at 7 am and you can view any time throughout the day.

  2. Have a set time/place. Find a consistent time and place and try to be as free from distractions as possible. Pick a time and be committed to it.

  3. Set a reminder on your phone a few times throughout the day to keep your prayer focus. It doesn't have to be long, and you can just a take moment to focus on God as you go through your day. This reminder can be a reset and reminder to you to go to God and keep focused on Him.

  4. Memorize a Verse/Theme Verse for this year. You may want to pick your own verse, or one of the verses shared during the 21 Days. One helpful hint is to write it out and put it some place you'll see it consistently and read it each time you do.

  5. Journal your thoughts/prayers. The journal can be used in lots of different ways but here's a few suggestions: you can write your thoughts on what you read in the Bible. Ask the questions: what does this say about God? What does say about me? How should I respond? You can also use the journal to write out your prayers - some people find this helpful in keeping focused. You could also journal your prayer requests as a list and then go back and write down how you see them answered.
